In 2015 (most recent annual report available) The Foundation made around 30 grants in its Building Audience for the Arts program, totalling just over $14 million. The average grant award was around $400,000.

The Wallace Foundation is based in New York City but has no specific geographic mandate. They work in six areas: afterschool, arts education, building audiences for the arts, expanding learning, school leadership, and summer learning.
