ArtPlace America was founded in 2010 as a ten-year project Inspired by Markussen and Gadwa’s work as well as the Our Town program. This coalition of foundations, federal agencies, and private corporations joined to fund and research the impact of Creative Placemaking across the US. 

National Creative Placemaking Fund
Designed to invest in planning and development projects that deploy arts and culture to strengthen their community.

  • Awards range from $50,000 to $500,000.
