REPORT: How to Build Efficiency in the Back Office

Making a difference in people’s lives is what nonprofit organizations do every day. But here is the inconvenient truth: very few funders, volunteers, or employees are passionate about back office
spending. 

So the challenge becomes this: how do you balance the need to support the parts of the program or project that funders love with the part they love to hate: indirect support costs. In other words, how can you drive back office efficiency and still provide the assistance that sponsored programs need to run efficiently and effectively?
