CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT Boy Scouts of America– National Scouting Museum Established in 1959, the National Scouting Museum is the official museum of the Boy Scouts of America. The Museum is committed to preserving the rich, 100+ year history of the Scouting movement by collecting, organizing, preserving, and displaying some of Scouting's greatest treasures. This collection not only documents Scouting's unique influence on American culture but also tells the story of a movement that has touched more than 110 million young people. The National Scouting Museum Moves up the Ranks with Blackbaud University In 2015, the National Scouting Museum was using Ticketmaster Vista ® as its ticketing system, but the product was not living up to the Museum's expectations. So, when Ticketmaster decided to discontinue the product, April Proulx, the Museum's programs director, took it as an opportunity to find a solution that actually fit the needs of the institution. April was doing extensive research on the solutions other museums were using for ticketing when she discovered Altru. She soon realized that the Museum's parent organization, the Boy Scouts of America, had been using other Blackbaud solutions for years.
