Learn More CUSTOMER STORY: Confederation Centre of the Arts Confederation Centre of the Arts is an award-winning national arts and cultural cornerstone. Confederation Centre of the Arts is open year-round and showcases the best in Canadian visual and performing arts. It houses several theatres, an art gallery, a restaurant and a gift shop. The Centre focuses on the next generation of up and coming artists and performers, offering a number of arts education programs and opportunities. As a registered charity, the Centre relies on financial support to maintain its level of excellence and preserve its existence as a major economic and cultural driving force in P.E.I. Challenge Confederation Centre of the Arts was using a financial system that was not meeting the organization's needs. Specifically, the reporting capability was extremely limited. The Centre could not track revenue and expenses by show or concert, for example. A very diverse organization with a lot of departments, including a restaurant and gift shop, the Centre needed more flexible reporting to determine effectiveness, demonstrate transparency, and make better decisions. "Financial Edge has given us a broad range of tools to analyze our financials. With its flexible reporting we can look at our financials in multiple ways. It provides easy data entry and management tools that allow our managers to conveniently look at their financial status. For the financial department, it means we have fewer interruptions. And overall, it has significantly streamlined our financial process." — Pam Vessey Financial Officer Confederation Centre of the Arts Confederation Centre of the Arts is powered by: • Financial Edge ™ • Raiser's Edge ™ 800.443.9441 June 2016
