REPORT: How to Build Efficiency in the Back Office

February 23, 2018

Making a difference in people’s lives is what nonprofit organizations do every day. But here is the inconvenient truth: very few funders, volunteers, or employees are passionate about back office
spending.

So the challenge becomes this: how do you balance the need to support the parts of the program or project that funders love with the part they love to hate: indirect support costs. In other words, how can you drive back office efficiency and still provide the assistance that sponsored programs need to run efficiently and effectively?

In this report, we will look at ways to present your organization as the most attractive grant recipient to funders while building a strategic approach to back office support that minimizes wasted efforts and costs.
